This database contains information about the real estate transactions that occurred in New York state since 1993. Data for Monroe County is supplied by the Monroe County Clerk's office and is updated weekly. Data for other counties is obtained from the New York State Office of Real Property Services and is updated quarterly.

Restaurant inspections
The Democrat and Chronicle's restaurant inspection database is from information supplied by the Monroe County Department of Health: Violation descriptions listed for each facility correspond to the general item statements on the New York State Department of Health Inspection Form DOH-192. Establishments may be in violation of all or only portions of the stated reference for each violation. The Democrat and Chronicle will update this database twice monthly as information on new inspections becomes available.
